As shown below his flow chart, this tool provides an interesting and simple view of whether people/teams/organizations are ready to go on the Scrum journey. This really resonated with myself, and my co-workers at the time especially when it comes to this organization. When going through the work flow, there are many similarities to the behaviours and current cultures here at this Big Five Canadian Bank. These behaviours when called out, can actually harm or hinder Agile transformations. But if we acknowledge them and work to actually improve these behaviours and cultures, we can transition to Scrum more easily.
